Leaves and Holidays1. Casual LeaveNumber of Days/FY:7< /p> To be Credited:At the beginning of each Quarter and hence 1.75 Leaves/Quarter Unused Leaves:Cannot be carried forward and expires on March 31st of that FY 2. Sick LeaveNumber of Days/FY:10 To be Credited:At the beginning of each Quarter Unused Leaves:Can be carried forward to the next FY up to 44 days and above 44 sick leaves will get elapsed with no encashment. Criteria:Medical certificate needs to be provided in case one wants to avail sick leave for more than 3 days continuously. 3. Earned LeaveNumber of Days/FY:16 To be Credited:At the end of each Quarter and hence 4 Leaves/Quarter Unused Leaves:Can be carried forward to the next FY up to 48 days and will get autoencashed on basic pay once it reaches above 48 leaves in total. 4. Holidays1. Holidays:8 Days/FY and it varies from Branch to Branch 2. Flexi Leaves:2 Days/FY if you have joined before the 1st of July for any year Availing Criteria:By applying a week before Unused Leaves:Gets gets elapsed in the December of that FY 5. Maternity and Adoption LeaveNumber of Weeks:26 Eligibility Criteria:Should have worked at TCS for at least 80 days in that FY Special Maternity Leave:Can be availed for 30 days in case of any illness pre or post-delivery. Adoption/Surrogacy Leave:Can be availed for 12 weeks. 6. LWP (Leave without pay)Number of Weeks:26 Eligibility Criteria:Should have worked at TCS for at least 2 years Total Days:Maximum of 730 Days (2 years). Medical Issues/Childcare:Maximum of 365 days. In case of 2 children 545 days Board Exam of Children/Illness of immediate family(Spouse, Parents, Children):Maximum of 3 months However, all leaves except Flexi Leaves would require the prior approval of supervisor/manager. Timesheet
To be filled on a daily basis. For New Joiners:Upon failing to fill the Timesheet, no Timesheet leave gets generated for 30 days from the date of joining. For Others:Upon failing to fill the Timesheet, Timesheet leave gets generated for the unapplied days. However, the employee can cancel the Timesheet leave with the approval from the supervisor within that month , failing which it will get deducted from earned leaves. In one month a maximum of 5 Timesheet leaves can be canceled and Timesheet leave generated greater than 5, will automatically get deducted from the earned leave of that individual. If the Timesheet is unfilled for greater than or equal to 10 days, a Stop Pay gets generated which will be notified to the supervisor & the project HR. Stop Pay is to be activated by them to ensure the employee's pay is not withheld for that month. |
